I'm reading that at 150cpm, you get real risk of cancer if exposed for a year. 500cpm you'll get cancer if exposed to 90 days. And if the radiation enters your body it becomes 20x more powerful.

For five days starting today, research choppers owned by the federal government will conduct daytime flyovers in The City, Oakland and Pacifica, according to local police. At times, the twin-engine Bell 412 will hover just 300 feet above the ground.
