    The Sound Of SiIence 寂静之声(选自《毕业生》1967).
    
    五个十年跨度的The Sound Of SiIence,总有一些东西，会在转瞬即逝的短暂岁月里留下永恒的痕迹。40年过去，两个人站的舞台改变了，服装改变了，声音改变了，容颜改变了，但这首歌从未改变。听得出沧桑，看得到衰老，不知不觉的，就有圆滚滚的东西突然从眼角顺着脸颊滑下去了。浪费的光阴太多，从现在开始珍惜，也许还来得及。
    
    演唱者simon 与garfunkel两人在60年代建立了二重唱组合,1970年夏天举办演唱会后因两人不和而分手，后各自独立发展。留下了包括“Scaborough”“El Condor Pass”等经典歌曲，被人传唱不朽。两个人在这单飞的十年里，都有着颇多的不快和挫折，simon认定自己创作上遭遇瓶颈，garfunkel作为非创作型歌手离开了simon之后更是难以逾越当年的高度，而此时两人的生活也是一团糟，simon离婚，garfunkel更惨，女友自杀。。。。不知是不是巧合，从71年单飞开始simon 与garfunkel每隔约十年就会以某种名义重新聚在一起，带给他们他们的歌迷一些欣喜若狂或是不知所措。

    没有人敢打扰这寂静的声音
    "Fools" said I, "You do not know Silence like a cancer grows”
    我说：“傻瓜，难道你不知道寂静如同顽疾滋长”
    Hear my words that I might teach you
    听我对你说的有益的话

    拉住我伸向你的手
    But my words like silent raindrops fell
    但是我的话犹如雨滴般飘落
    And echoed in the wells of silence
    在寂静的水井中回响
    And the people bowed and prayed to the neon god they made.
    人们向自己创造的霓虹之神 鞠躬 祈祷
    And the sign flashed out its warning
    神光中闪射出告诫的祷言
    And the words that it was forming
    在字里行间指明
    And the sign said:

    and tenement halls

    其實這首歌最帶給我觸動的并不是在畢業生里
    
    
    而是守望者中笑匠落葬的時候bgm居然是這首歌，實在配得太牛了
